Final Speakers Announced for Inspiring Leadership Conference 2026
Performance expert, stand-up comic and co-author of ‘Will It Make The Boat Go Faster?’, written with Olympic gold medalist Ben Hunt-Davis, Harriet Beveridge is fascinated by how we can both perform and thrive.
She recently finished an MSc in the Neuroscience and Psychology of Mental Health and as a stand-up comic, has appeared on BBC Radio 4 and TEDx. At this year’s conference, Harriet will be sharing Olympic-winning strategies for everyday success.
Dex Hunter-Torricke has worked with some of the highest-profile leaders and organisations in the world, steering their communications and helping to shape their influence. Starting his career as a speechwriter in the office of UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon, Dex’s experience includes working as a speechwriter and adviser for Larry Page, Sergei Brin, Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk's SpaceX.
He served as Head of Global Communications & Marketing at Google DeepMind, the UK-founded AI business applying technologies for public benefit and scientific discovery, before launching the Center for Tomorrow, a nonprofit organisation focused on AI governance and preparing for the technology’s wide-ranging impact. Dex will provide insight into how these high profile organisations operate, innovate, communicate, manage reputation and develop leadership strategies.
Georgie Butler, Director of Inspiring Leadership Events, comments:
“With a focus on performance, albeit from different perspectives, Harriet and Dex will provide our conference attendees with invaluable advice about how to improve both individual and organisational performance based on their experience in elite sport and business.
