Channel 4's Head of Diversity to deliver conference keynote

We’re delighted to confirm that Naomi Sesay, Head of Diversity for Channel 4, will be delivering a keynote at the Inspiring Leadership Conference in June 2025 (12 & 13 June, ICC, Birmingham).

With over 30 years’ experience in television and media, Naomi has devoted her career to serving as a powerful advocate for diversity and inclusion, and trailblazer for social enterprise.  At Channel 4, she is responsible for developing and delivering diversity initiatives and ensuring commissioning reflects the UK’s culturally and ethnically diverse community.  While in 2020, she embarked on her biggest social enterprise to date - the development of the first smart, sustainable city to be built with a female perspective in Sierra Leone, West Africa.

As an established keynote, Naomi challenges audiences to examine their emotional and cultural intelligence to create an effective, high- performing and truly diverse workforce and, at next year’s conference, will share her views on the future of inclusive leadership, the nuances, quirks and science.

Georgie Butler, Associate Director of Inspiring Leadership Events, comments: “Naomi is one of the most respected advocates for diversity and inclusion. We look forward to hearing her views on inclusive leadership and to being inspired to take the actions required to make our schools truly inclusive environments.”

The only event of its type that is organised specifically for UK school education leaders, the Inspiring Leadership Conference is attended by around 1,000 senior leaders from schools in the UK and overseas.

In addition to gaining access to inspirational, high-calibre speakers, delegates will have the opportunity to attend masterclasses and workshops, network with fellow attendees and to talk with a range of organisations which support the education sector in a dedicated exhibitor area.
