Andrew Moffat has been teaching for 30 years and is the creator of No Outsiders, a programme that teaches children to recognise and embrace diversity and equality in modern Britain. Andrew is currently AHT at The Meadows primary school and PD for Excelsior Mat in Birmingham. In 2017 Andrew was awarded a MBE for services to education and in 2019 he was listed as a top 10 finalist in the Varkey Foundation Global Teacher Prize. Also in 2019, protests emerged outside Andrew's school about RSE and the inclusion of LGBT+ equality in No Outsiders. With the backing of Excelsior Mat, Andrew survived! Today No Outsiders is taught in thousands of schools and Andrew delivers training across the UK. Last year alone, Andrew visited 80 schools.
